I design and build experiences that help people understand, engage, and take action.
Clear structure. Thoughtful interaction. Practical application.
My work spans healthcare, education, and digital environments, where I focus on clarity, interaction, and real-world use.
I’m interested in how complex ideas become usable in practice, and how thoughtful design supports better decisions, conversations, and outcomes.

AI in Healthcare
Ethical Integration & Equity
Virtual Learning Experience
AI is already influencing care decisions, sometimes improving outcomes, sometimes introducing risk.
This session helps healthcare professionals make sense of that reality through real-world scenarios, discussion, and practical reflection.
-
AI is rapidly being adopted in healthcare, but most conversations focus on innovation rather than risk.
Healthcare professionals need space to:
understand how AI shows up in practice
recognize bias and limitations
reflect on their role in responsible implementation
Traditional training often delivers information, but doesn’t support discussion, reflection, or behavior change.
-
Structured around real-world scenarios, not abstract concepts
Designed for discussion, not lecture
Integrated interactive elements (word cloud, polling, knowledge checks)
Sequenced content: understanding → tension → reflection → action
Used participant insights to shape content and guide discussion
-
Used contrasting case studies to highlight both opportunity and risk
Balanced data with human impact to ground the content
Designed prompts to shift from passive listening to active participation
Kept visual design minimal to support clarity during facilitation
Built pacing intentionally to create space for reflection and discussion
What I Built
▸ Slide deck optimized for virtual delivery
▸ Facilitator guide with talk track, prompts, and timing
▸ Interactive elements
▸ Scenario-based case studies
▸ Evaluation approach (pre, during, and post-session)
Start with the right problem before designing solutions
Ask better questions to uncover context, intent, and constraints
Structure experiences to move from understanding to application
Guided by curiosity, grounded in real-world application
I see tools and technology as a means, not the outcome.
Slides, platforms, systems — they matter, but only if they support clarity, interaction, and real-world use.
Good design is collaborative.
It invites conversation, challenges assumptions, and improves through feedback and iteration.
I’m less interested in perfection and more interested in usefulness.
If something is clear, usable, and supports better decisions or conversations, it’s doing its job.
I design idealistically and execute pragmatically.

My background started in film, video, and media studies, where I learned how much structure, pacing, and storytelling shape what people actually take away.
I’ve always been drawn to how people experience things, how meaning shifts based on context, perspective, and access.
Outside of pixel work, I am passionate about equity-focused work. I founded an LGBTQ+ Advisory Group and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve access, representation, and patient outcomes.
